Prototype - Game Review

Prototpye is what you should call a "super villain sandbox game", you fight against the government with superhuman powers.

These powers allows you to shape shift turning your arm into a sword or your skin into armour, there are many more weapons and upgrades for your morphing abilities. The power also makes it possible to "consume"(eat) another human and take his/her appearance.

This leads to some of the most skullraping scenarios, where you spot a married couple, eat the woman, and then beat the piss out of the husband.

This is also used to infiltrate military bases and to loose the helicopters they send after you, which can be easily hi-jacked by using the whipfist's grapple ability.

The story revolves around Alex Mercer who wakes up with amnesia on an operating table, he then escapes to find out he was supposed to be terminated and seeks out the ones responsible.

Though the story is a bit unoriginal and the gameplay mainly is doing overpowered shit, it's still a great experience for people who like action games.

The graphical aspect of the game is quite good, anti aliasing and HD options make it a lust for the eye.
