Mount And Blade - Game Review
Mount and blade is one of those games that don't tell you anything when you start. After a quick character creation section you are thrown into this huge map and the rest is up to you. Most free-roam RPG games are mostly based around combat, M&B however does not, you can also be a merchant or politician.
Of course you can choose to focus on combat, and you should at least put some points into it or you find your wares seized by some bandits. When you go into combat you and your squadron are on one side of the field and the enemy on another side, then you walk towards each other and start shooting arrows or hacking into each other, then the victorious one gets to steal the stuff from the others.
It works but it's not perfect, especially not when you did not choose one combat skill. For the time I was playing, as a merchant, I found it quite annoying to see my men get clubbed to death over and over again, and seizing my goods... and money.
The game is easier for mercenaries, your strong enough to beat the crap out of everyone and get paid for it. There are also the arena fights, which are an effective way to train your skills, because when you die in an arena fight there are no penalties whatsoever. As for the merchant bit, it's just buy low sell high, works like a charm. You can also seize or buy cities and castle's to have an influence on the politics around the land.
The game play is great, but the graphics are not very good. You can almost count the polygons on you character and the sky looks like some guy just painted a piece of cardboard blue and moved it 5 feet from the window.

Left 4 Dead1 VS Left 4 Dead 2 Since the announcement of L4D2 being released and priced as a full game there has been a bit of commotion surrounding the game. People calling themselves ''boycotters'' (also known as retards), tried to convince valve to make it an update for the existing L4D, or a DLC.
Left 4 Dead - Game Review
Left 4 Dead - Game Review If there is one developer I love it is Valve, their games are cunning and witty. Left 4 dead is a shooter, a zombie shooter that is and a good one too. It's fast paced, fun, and a good way to find out who is going to spas out under pressure.
Left 4 Dead 2 - Game Review
Left 4 Dead 2 - Game Review The quick release of Left 4 Dead 2 shocked me a bit. Valve usually takes it's sweet time making a game, which made me wonder if L4D2 was finished whatsoever. 6 months after L4D1 valve announced L4D2, and 6 months later it was released.
