Left 4 Dead 2 - Game Review
The quick release of Left 4 Dead 2 shocked me a bit. Valve usually takes it's sweet time making a game, which made me wonder if L4D2 was finished whatsoever. 6 months after L4D1 valve announced L4D2, and 6 months later it was released.
For people who liked L4D1 will like this one, because it is just like it. There are some improvements, more guns, me lee weapons and more power. Graphics have also improved a bit in comparison to L4D1, more blood more visible damages to the zombies.
L4D2 stays the terrifying zombie apocalypse, especially with the AI director 2.0. It can now sense better how you are doing throughout the game, so it will be more fair with weapons and zombie hordes.
There are also a couple of new zombies to shoot, the jockey, the charger and the spitter. Valve also gave some zombies armour, making them almost bulletproof. But the new zombies can be quite annoying, which is great.
- The jockey jumps on your head and tries to control your body.
- The charger, charges at you and starts to pummel you.
- And the spitter spits acid, which shall burn your flesh.
Speaking of online, just like L4D1 there is online play and it kicks ass with new players and new achievements. Some of the achievements are really cool, for example, there is this carnival with hordes of zombies and you have to get a garden gnome to the end of it and you can't shoot while holding something, so you'll have to rely on your team mates to protect you. This game rocks.
Overall review
- Gameplay

The same as left 4 dead 1, great. - Story

The story is that some infection infected the world turning them into zombies, and you and 3 others have to escape, that's it. - Graphics

Graphics have improved the last year, as did L4D2's graphics, it looks a bit more realistic.

The Witcher - Game Review
The Witcher - Game Review The Witcher is based on "The Last Wish" a book by Anderzej Zapkowski. When you start the witcher you get some quick tutorials thrown at you, how to swing your sword, perform alchemy and using magic. This may sound simple but it's more complicated than Microsoft Access, there is your glossary screen, quests, map, alchemy ingredients, when in battle you have to switch between strong fast and group style and when you are in combat you have to chose between a steel or silver sword.
Psychonauts Game Review
Psychonauts - Game Review Psychonauts is a rather old game dating back to spring 2005 but still one of the best experiences you'll ever have on your pc. The mind behind Psychonauts is Tim Schafer and he did a damn fine job coming up with the concept.

The Orange Box - Game Review When you order the orange box that's what your going to get, an orange box. But what's even more important is what's inside the box. Because, inside, there are some of the best games ever made: Half life 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2.
