Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles - Game Review

For those who are familiar with the Castlevania series, will notice that the story mode of the Dracula X Chronicles is just Rondo of Blood with upgraded graphics. For those who aren't familiar with Castlevania, you know now.

It is different in some aspects, there are unlockable music tracks and extras(will be getting to that in a minute), boss rush modes in wich you have to defeat the bosses as quickly as possible and a music player for the unlocked songs.

The story isn't much different in comparison with other Castlevania games, Dracula is being recurrected and YOU are the ONLY ONE WHO CAN STOP HIM.

The thing I liked about the earlier Castlevania games is that you have a set amount of health throughout the game, which changed when Symphony of the Night came along.

Speaking of Symphony of the Night, Dracula X Chronicles has a "original game" mode that you can unlock during the story mode, it features a bonus game called " Akumajyo Dracula Peke", the original Rondo of Blood AND Symphony of the Night. Symphony of the Night alone makes this game a great purchase because it's the best Castlevania in history, the combat, the bosses the Easter Eggs, the environment, the only downside was that they made you go through the castle twice, once normal and once up-side down.

Akumajyo Dracula Peke was a mini-game in the original(not the one on the PSP)Chi ni Rondo, the Japanese import, when played on a "different" graphics card would become a lot more kiddy. If you liked Rondo of Blood you'll probably like this, besides, it features Symphony of the Night, who doesn't like that?

The Witcher - Game Review
The Witcher - Game Review The Witcher is based on "The Last Wish" a book by Anderzej Zapkowski. When you start the witcher you get some quick tutorials thrown at you, how to swing your sword, perform alchemy and using magic. This may sound simple but it's more complicated than Microsoft Access, there is your glossary screen, quests, map, alchemy ingredients, when in battle you have to switch between strong fast and group style and when you are in combat you have to chose between a steel or silver sword.

The Orange Box - Game Review
The Orange Box - Game Review When you order the orange box that's what your going to get, an orange box. But what's even more important is what's inside the box. Because, inside, there are some of the best games ever made: Half life 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2.

The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion - Game Review
The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion - Game Review When you wake up in the imperial prison not knowing what crime you committed and get send on a quest you don't give a crap about you're either high or playing Oblivion. Borderlands - Game Review
Borderlands - Game Review Right... Borderlands, the new RPS (Role Playing Shooter) from 2K games and gearbox software. The game was released on October 30 2009 and hit the stores pretty hard, there was a shortage in just 3 days for the PS3, Xbox 360 AND PC, but with good reason.
